Compton Terrace Gardens run in front of Union Chapel by Highbury Corner in Islington. These Gardens were first set up in 1823, over 200 years ago!

A friendly volunteer gardening group started looking after the Gardens about 10 years ago. New volunteer gardeners are very welcome. Tasks change with the seasons but typically we're planting, mulching, pruning and leaf sweeping.
No specialist gardening skills are needed and we also offer lots of fresh air and the opportunity to meet local people.
We meet once a month on Saturday morning at 10am near the green shed in the middle of the Gardens.
